  Brief Explanation   Using Tempera as basically a 'primer', Callie is able to erase a wound and redraw the affected area as brand new. This is less of healing and more of aetherial manipulation. Wounds are not being encouranged to heal, they're moreso being removed from a corporeal being.  Is it...ethical?   Not really. It goes against normal healing practices and the main issue is it's known to remove things like scars, freckles, birthmarks, and tattoos if Callie isn't careful. These can be drawn back on but too much tampering could erase who you are as a person. Think of Land of the Lustrous when the gems would lose parts of themselves.

  Heavy Limitations   This like complex organs can NOT be fixed this way. Take a heart as example, Callie would have to know all the parts of a heart in order to 'redraw' it correctly. Even improperly redrawing normal skin after a gash could be an issue if she's not consistent. This could make the skin rough or deformed in some way, causing issues in the long run.  Aether Limits   The worse the wound, the more Aether Callie has to focus in recreating. Not to mention, more complex tissues would take extra time, energy, and effort. Due to the great need for artistic knowledge and aether control, some wounds may not be fixable.

  Can it fix illness?   Not directly. Erasure targets what is, not what causes it. You can repaint the rash, but not the fever behind it. If Callie redraws infected tissue without removing the source, the sickness just reappears—sometimes deeper, hidden under perfect skin.  Better with references   Yes, Callie has taken a hobby of drawing but it's also a way of making note of people's physical traits. Personality.

Personality. Callie's personality is a mixture between odd, charming, and an absolute cesspool. To the average person, she is quite cold unless you've either given her something or caught her attention. Even after that point, she's quite abrasive with a half broken filter. She is fearless and senseless, often hurting feelings and most the time not quite caring.Callie is incredibly selfish and will put herself first most of the time. Having lost everything once, she will NOT make the mistake again, even at someone else's expense. She holds no hesitation in lying, stealing, cheating, or even violence as a way to get what she wants/needs.If you manage to get close to her, the abrasive Viera noticably softens. Humorous and surprisingly protective, if you had plans on getting rid of her than good luck. She is ignorant to how normal friendships and relationships function, resulting in the occasional odd behavior. You will get made fun of still, there is no doubt, but it comes from a place of general playfulness. Good luck, you'll need it.Deep down, Callie is quite unhappy. She will never be satisfied, merely sated till her next fix. Some days she never leaves her bed, the weight of a lifetime of regrets smothering her.Then realization. She knows there's no going back. Growing up in the forest most of her life, she can still struggle to fit in and understand customs to this day. This could partly be the fact she also doesn't particularly care to learn either. Even in her forty-seven years on this star, Callie doesn't understand how to do things like taxes, bills, or keeping up with her own fines. She also doesn't understand common niceties like writing thank you cards or holding the door open for people. It comes off as rude but to some extent, she's just never been taught.Relationship wise, Callie has...a track record, for sure. Most people she's dated and broken up with want nothing more to do with her, leaving in some kind of heartbreak when she could reciprocate their feelings. In one circumstance, she was actually proposed to. It was quickly broken off and that person hasn't spoken to her till this day. She is unknowingly aromantic and an awful communicator, leaving many in heartbreak.Is Callie changeable? Yes. And no. If you're trying to change her, you've already messed it up. While Callie can become more comfortable, open up, and learn to not make certain mistakes, she will never fully change. Attempts to change her will be met with nothing but resistance and then just abandonment on her end. You've got two options, allow her to free roam and accept her for who she is or end up being apart of the Callie Distribution System. Most people in her inner circle were just nice to her one time and now can't get rid of her. Much like a cat, you'll have to wait till she picks you.

Cilla Freyja was born sixth out of twelve total siblings in a large polygamous family unit in a small village in snowy forests of the Skatay Mountain Range. Since the very beginning she always felt different, not quite apart of the robust family. This feeling would linger for years as she grew and matured, realizing there was something different physically about her as well. Cilla was biologically a male veena but never felt connected to that identity. She'd seen her father come and go over few years and bring other males with him. Some of them never returned. Cilla was scared she would be the next to go.As all the other viera in their village, once Cilla turned twelve she underwent a special 'ritual' to not only prep themselves for adulthood but prove their dedication to the Green Word as a whole. Markings and symbols were cut into their skin, leaving deep scars in their wake. It took almost a year to fully heal, only adding to her misery and discontent of life in the woods.Instead of speaking up, she kept to herself, separating herself even more from her large family. Men would return to the village and talks of finding mates and settling down would always be up in the air. She'd treated every possible suitor coldly for good reason. They could never find out. Even if it made her miserable to hold in, she persisted until thoughts of running off plagued her mind on the daily.

The risks of leaving the woods she'd known as home had gotten less and less scary as her will to carry on dwindled. One night, she gathered up as many things as she could gather and left.The journey was rough. The choice to leave was somehow spontaneous and planned at the same time. Sure, it had been something she yearned for but the few supplies she'd brought with her were used up quite quickly on her way to a seemingly better life. Many times she thought about turning back but once you've left, there is no return. She was sure her mothers and father hated her now. Even if she wanted to, there was no home to even return to.She walks, ran, swam, and hitchhiked her way across the Far East. Each step caused her feet to ache and her stomach to growl, down to only a few bites of food a day from her supplies.That was until she found a boon. Climbing barefoot through thick brush, Cilla almost trips on the armor-clad body of a fallen Garlean solider. She searched through the bodies belongings, finding a few extra bits of food and medicines. Within their things, Cilla found a small piece of paper laying out a battle plan with the name 'Caledonia' scribbled across the top. From then, her new identity was born. Callie Dyonia. She'd survive on these few supplies long enough to make it Yanxia.

Kugane bound.

This was only the beginning. Using a stolen identity, Callie soon realized surviving without the comforts of home was harder than it looked. She had skills, sure, but most could be used for little odd jobs here and there around the small village in Yanxia she could settle down in. Everyone was poor and everything was over priced, leaving her rationing her meals to an extreme. Within the small abandoned hut she made home in, the single meal of the day would be a few spoonfuls of rice or some kind of half rotten fruit or vegetable she managed to steal. The hardest days were plentiful, filling her stomach with whatever she could. Some days she swore she could feel like she was dying, her stomach eating away at the only thing it had. Itself.Was her attempt to be free truly that or was this just another Hell she'd found her way into. There was no signs on the horizon till opportunity presented itself. She wasn't sure their status but she knew they were Garlean. Their words were usually laced with insults but...this day was different. They wanted information and were willing to trade. For a few bits of gossip, Callie was given a handful of gil.

This was the beginning of a long slippery slope. Callie was able to afford a hefty dinner, feeling full for the first time in months. Even after the person in question suddenly disappeared without a trace, greed and want swirled in her head.She began stealing heavily. She'd snitch on anyone she knew for a couple pieces of gil and the occasion steamed bun. Her small hut soon filled with ill-gotten goods, fueled by greed and gluttony. No one was innocent of her onslaught. Callie held no guilt or regret for anyone.Well, except for one.Callie robbed a small family one night, unknowingly stealing the last bit of food and gil they had. Within a matter of days, both children grew weak and passed. When people would disappear, they'd just poof away like they never existed. This was her first experience seeing the damage she caused first hand. The uncomfortable feeling in her chest was...odd. Unknown and unwelcomed.
Callie soon gathered her valuables and set her sights on Kugane.

Within a month, Callie is issued her first warrant. Life in the city was bold and exciting! So many people to steal from, parties to have, and strange beds to wake up in. Her bender is truly a blur, only remembering bits and pieces of it. Sometimes she slept. Sometimes she woke up in the small jail within the city-state. Sometimes she stayed there even longer.She wasn't against selling just about anything for money, that included things like weapons and swords. While she was trying to peddle stolen goods, the viera came across a firearm, something she'd never seen before. Completely unaware of proper gun safety, she looked right down the barrel before triggering the flamethrower. She barely missed scaring herself for life, burning off a little fur on her ears in the process. Most people with sense would be deterred by almost killing themselves but she's not that kind of person, taking it as a weapon instead.Pockets heavy with stolen gil and no inhibition, Callie turns her sights on a new place, ending up in the city-state of Ul Dah. The viera fits in amongst the seedy merchants and thieves, settling down and calling it home.When not traveling for some kind of odd job, hit, or assignment, Callie can be seen being nosy around the Sapphire Avenue Exchange. She's gotten an apartment within the Goblet that's occasionally messy and filled with various treasures. She is currently being charged x3 normal rent price but has no idea.

Callie has recently moved to Kugane to live in a polycule with her three partners; Signe, Tahir, and Nkunja. After a fight with Signe, Callie ended up storming out of the house and eventually was caught by Sekiseigumi. Facing years rotting away in a prison cell, her partner Tahir was able to work out a deal on her behalf. Six months strict house arrest. With no other choice, Callie agreed.While unpleasant at first, she made the best of her time. Callie got to spend a lot of time with her partners and a lot of time lounging on the couch. She eventually decided to grow out her hair and go blonde (in an attempt to copy Nikunja).Once her house arrest was finished, the Judge gave her one final rule. No more firearms. He...also made the comment about how she should 'pick up a hobby like art with her newfound freedom.'. Callie...took this literally and has decided to pick up the study of Pictomancy. It's...a struggle, given the fact she's never really done anything artistic before in her entire life but she's...trying to be better, at least.

Currently, Callie is staying with her partners and trying to figure out how to start living like a normal person at the young Vieran age of fourty-seven. Her criminal days are basically over, fighting off the occasional urge of kleptomania.

  Headcanon  Callie is an unreliable narrator. Though it’s unknown how they really felt about her being transgender, Callie automatically assumed they weren’t going to be accepting. Truth be told, since she hid it, they weren’t really given the chance to have an opinion on it and really have no idea why she left.  Headcanon  Callie’s forest name is Cilla. She will absolutely not answer to it. In fact, using it will just cause her to be VERY SUSPICIOUS because how the hell would you know it, huh?  Headcanon   Callie's favorite smell is a toss up between whatever Hannish scent her partners are using and the smell of rot and old blood. There's a lot of smells that 'stink' that Callie enjoys, given the idea that I think Viera's process scent differently since scent is everything to a rabbit.  Headcanon   She is a trans woman! She has not had any kind of altering to her body aside from the effects of hormone replacement meaning she is pre-op.  Headcanon   Callie doesn't know what aromantic is but would identify as that. As of the time of writing this, I do not consider her any form of grey-romantic and she does not experience romantic attraction in any form or capacity. This doesn't mean she doesn't like affectionate things like kissing, hugging, snuggling, etc. She just doesn't feel the romantic feelings that come along with it.

  Headcanon   Callie’s main thing to steal was gil, food, and anything she could sell. During her time in Yanxia she was completely focused on her own survival and took no one else into consideration. From assisting Garleans and hoarding valuable resources, the amount of deaths she caused by her own greed is currently unknown but two are confirmed. These two deaths were two small children who ended up starving to death. This was unintentional on her part and still haunts her to this day.  Headcanon   Callie is...kind of scared of going to any kind of doctor. She's not exactly afraid of pain but just the act of going to the doctor irks her.  Headcanon   Callie is allergic to persimmons but doesn't quite know it. She thinks everyone's mouth just itches after eating one. (Disclaimer: She isn't ACTUALLY allergic! This is another one of those instances where she is an unreliable narrator. Unripe persimmons are full of tannins that just make the mouth itchy.)  Headcanon   Callie was wanted in Kugane. Since doing house arrest, her charges are now cleared.  Headcanon   Having grown up in a polyamorous household, Callie is more likely to thrive and seek out poly relationships. She doesn't particularly get jealous of she smells another viera on something but she will scent mark to be cocky.  Headcanon  Callie suffers from a form of prosopagnosia, or facial blindness. She can't fully 'see' people till she gets their scent. This means she's unable to see attraction based on physical looks, basing it all on scent alone.  Headcanon   Callie has no idea how to do her own taxes or her own social security number. It's unknown if she even has any form of identification.  Headcanon   Callie sleeps on a futon bed and prefers sleeping on the floor. I headcanon that veena viera enjoy the act of group sleeping, sharing one large bed pile instead of separate sleeping areas in an attempt to stay warm. Sleeping on the floor just feels more natural.  Headcanon   She has trouble digesting food and absorbing nutrients. This had led to the occasional pica cravings for things that aren't food. Sometimes she acts upon these cravings since she's got an extremely low impulse control.  Headcanon   They genetically a dwarf viera, much shorter than the same members of her species. She isn't self conscious about it but will bite if you try to tease her.

  Hook   Callie loves food with every fiber of her being. She could easily be swayed with the promise of something good to eat. Her favorite food is any kind of steamed bun.  Hook   Callie has recently started drawing and using pictomancy. She's not really that great in either but she's always looking to improve. Feel free to yap about different types of art and styles.  Hook   Being a criminal herself, Callie is drawn to those with similar standings with the law. Same hat? Same hat! She can't really DO crime anymore but still, real recognizes real.

  Hook   Callie LOVES Nald'Thal despite not exactly following him correctly. Hesitant to get too fucked up in public, she prefers more simple drinks over stuff that's super fruity.  Hook   Given her past, Callie seems to have a strange affinity for Garlean characters. She doesn't have a strong opinion against them nor does she care about the war crimes.  Hook   This viera is autistic. Sometimes social cues will go unnoticed and sometimes she'll take things seriously or just not get things.
